Kalamazoo Man Arrested In Connection To Hit-And-Run
An arrest was made Wednesday in connection to a hit-and-run crash in Kalamazoo.
A search warrant was executed by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety to a home in the 1000 block of Garden St. Wednesday; at the home, the suspect refused to exit the residence, so authorities entered and arrested the 37-year-old man on charges of Failure to Stop at the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.
As well, the man was determined to have been a parolee from the Michigan Department of Corrections, so he's facing a parole violation as well.
They came to arrest the man, during the investigation into a crash at the intersection of Jackson and Mills St. No one was injured in the accident, and the hit-and-run remains under investigation by the Operations Division.
