Pistons Unveil New Logo

The Detroit Pistons' new logo looks a lot like their old logo.  The team as officially unveiled an updated logo, although a picture of it accidentally slipped out recently on a merchandising website.   The team says they worked with the NBA and Nike on the logo over the course of six-months.

The logo is similar to a logo the team used from 1979-96, with the team's name written on a red basketball background with a blue ring surrounding the ball.  The Pistons begin playing in Little Caesar's Arena in downtown Detroit next season, and share the venue with the Detroit Red Wings.
