Richard’s Ride: 2016 Lincoln MKC

Our Lakeview Ford Lincoln Richard's Ride for January is the 2016 Lincoln MKC crossover.

Based on the Ford Escape platform, the MKC is a handsomely styled Lincoln with the luxury appointments you would expect from Lincoln with the passenger and cargo space you can use. Introduced in 2015, the MKC has received rave reviews from national sources across the country.

One of the concerns, of course, when a luxury vehicle is based on one of its more mainstream cousins is that it will not separate itself enough from that cousin - thus making it difficult to justify a luxury pricetag. Fortunately for the MKC, it does not have that problem. The MKC is a smooth-riding, well-powered crossover with luxury appointments that definitely make it feel upscale.

Couple that with great service from Lincoln - like free maintenance, free loaner cars and certified Lincoln sales representatives - and it's a whole new level of auto experience.
