A 38-year-old Albion man was killed in a crash that ended a chase with police early Tuesday morning.

The City of Albion was able to shut off a gas leak that had one road shut down for roughly an hour Monday morning.

Bike and turning lanes to be added.

The Albion Department of Public Safety responded to a reported stabbing. The incident happened just before 2 p.m. in the 800 block of North Berrien St.

There is a new boil water advisory for parts of Albion, due to a water main repair. Areas affected include parts of Irwin Avenue, Crescent Street and Woodlawn Blvd.

A small portion of Albion’s downtown area will be under a Boil Water Advisory from now until at least Saturday.
