Water Contamination

The state claims all of the companies it names have been involved in a systematic effort to produce dangerous chemical compounds, and then offer misleading information, or none at all, about dangerous aspects of using, or disposing of them.

The City of Parchment and some areas of Cooper Township in Kalamazoo County have tested positive for what the State of Michigan has designated as unsafe levels of PFAS.

A public meeting will be held on July 30th following the Michigan DEQ identifying unsafe levels of perfluorinated chemicals in two private drinking wells near the Air National Guard base in Battle Creek.
