Tigers Lose 9-8 to A’s

The Tigers lost their second in a row to the A’s, 9-8 at Comerica Park.after blowing a 4-run lead. Chad Bell started and gave up three runs in his 3 1/3 innings, but the Tigers came back to take a 6-3 lead in the fifth.  Alex Presley hit a solo homer, and then James McCann tripled in a pair.  After a Nick Castellanos two-run homer in the 6^th, the Tigers led 8-4.

In the 8^th, reliever Alex Wilson was touched up for four runs, as he gave up a grand slam homer to Jed Lowrie.   The A’s win it 9-8.
