The Battle Creek Fire Marshall's office is investigating a weekend fire.

Multiple crews with the Battle Creek Fire Department responded to a fire in the 400 block of Hubbard Street at 8:04 a.m. Saturday morning.

Upon arrival, fire crews located the fire on the outside of the residential wooden single story structure, which was quickly starting to make its way inside.

Fire crews were able to quickly work to contain the fire with the majority of damage being contained to the outside area.

A search for victims was performed and no occupants were found within the home.

Crews then worked to put out hot spots and ventilate the structure. There were no reports of injuries.

The fire is being investigated by the Battle Creek Fire Marshal’s Office.
