Battle Creek Officers Cleared Of Wrongdoing In Shooting

Two police officers in Battle Creek were cleared to return to work yesterday following an investigation into a shooting incident May 10 that left one man dead.

Calhoun County Prosecutor David Gilbert says that gunfire from the local officers was justified and that the two officers acted in accordance with the law.

Gilbert also stated that nineteen-year-old Koddy Campbell fired his weapon towards himself before officers fired.
