Beckley Sidewalk Closed Tuesday

The sidewalk on the south side of Beckley Road – from Capital Avenue SW to Riverside Drive – will be closed to pedestrians on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 11 and 12, this week.

A group will clean up the overgrown vegetation in front of the cemetery on Beckley, near the city’s water tower. The entire length of sidewalk will be closed as described so that pedestrians are directed to crosswalks at the traffic signals.

A detour will direct pedestrians to use the sidewalk on the north side of Beckley.
