Michigan State Police conducted an investigation into advertisements posted on Craigslist that solicited images of child sexually abusive material. As a result, a Bedford Township man was arrested on charges of manufacturing, possession and distribution of child sexually abusive material.

The Michigan State Police Fifth District Fugitive Team made the arrest Thursday and the suspect will be arraigned Friday, February 9th at 1:30 PM, at the Calhoun County District Court.

The MSP Computer Crimes Unit encourages parents to speak to their children about the safe use of the internet. There are many resources available to parents to assist in keeping children safe online.
