A man was in Calhoun County Court this week, after he was charged with sexually abusing minors.

WWMT reports that 42-year-old William Wolter of Homer is facing two counts of First degree criminal sexual conduct, with authorities saying that he gave drugs and alcohol to two sisters aged 12 and 15 before having sex with them.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office learned of the allegations in August 2016, while investigated other crimes. Wolter went into hiding when authorities got an arrest warrant, but he was eventually found at a home in Albion, in a hidden room.

Wolter’s next court date isn’t available yet, and he remains in jail on $300,000 bond.
