California Wildfire Smoke Reaches Michigan
A map from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration shows how smoke from the deadly fires in California has made its way to Michigan.
Today's map tracks the path of smoke from the wildfires in California.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Camp Fire in Butte County has killed 29 people to match the deadliest wildfire in California history. There are still at least 228 people missing.
It's the second time in recent months that smoke from wildfires on the West Coast has come to Michigan. In August, smoke from fires in California and Nevada traveled to Michigan.
