Cases Of Whooping Cough Continue To Grow
Reported cases of pertussis continue to grow in Calhoun County. County health officials declared an outbreak a few weeks ago. The Calhoun County Health Department confirmed nine cases of whooping cough and two probable cases. The Battle Creek Enquirer reports two of the confirmed cases are within Pennfield School District.
When the pertussis outbreak was first noted, there were five confirmed cases with two possible.
