HS Basketball – Cold 3rd Quarter Buries Bearcats (VIDEO)

The final week of the Michigan High School Athletic Association's Boys Basketball season has arrived with several make-up contests. Our Game of the Night was one that was rescheduled four times.

The Battle Creek Central Bearcats hosted the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants in a game that was originally scheduled for February 1st. The two squads met in mid-December with Kalamazoo Central prevailing by 25 points. Since then, Kalamazoo Central wrapped up another Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference title in the East Division. The Bearcats had won three straight to even their record at 7-7, before falling to East Lansing on the road.

This match-up provided the teams with the perfect momentum and energy needed to head into Districts next week.
