Beavers Block The Bearcats: HS Basketball – December 16

The Harper Creek Beavers used several fast breaks to run past the Battle Creek Central Bearcats to move to 3-0 on the season with a 73-61 victory on their home floor. Senior Khylen Watkins led the Beavers with a game-high 23 points, including three triples and several aggressive drives through the paint. TraYon Johnson added 15 and James Cadena chipped in 14 in the victory, as they shot 50 percent from the field.

Juan Warren put together a double-double for the Bearcats (0-3), tallying 14 points and 12 rebounds that included seven on the offensive glass. Wendell White also had 14 on the night, as BCC made six threes on the night.
