HS Basketball: Tough On The Road

Three city schools took the floor Tuesday night on the road and battled in tough non-divisional and non-conference games.

In the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference, the Battle Creek Central Bearcats played on back-to-back nights and sustained a three-point loss in Stevensville.

The Lakeview Spartans will have to look for their first win of the season in the new year, as they are off for the holidays.

The Pennfield Panthers returned to action on the road for the first time in a week, only to fall in their second straight game determined by five points or less.

There was also a multiple overtime thriller in Marshall, as the Redhawks get their first win.
