HS Basketball: Bearcats Hook Up With The Rams

The Battle Creek Central Bearcats return to action tonight against an annual formidable foe in the Holt Rams.

The Bearcats have been off since December 22nd, as they knocked off the Muskegon Heights Tigers in the second night of the Chuck Turner Classic, 52-49.

While the Classic took place at the legendary Fieldhouse, the Bearcats return to the new gym for the first time since December 14th. That was a night Central pounded the Harper Creek Beavers 60-46 to hand them their only loss thus far.

The Rams enter the contest at 4-0, and have three players averaging in double figures so far this season. One of them is 6'10" junior center Jaron Faulds, who has scored 13 points and grabbed 11 boards on average to go with five blocks a game. He has been looked at by several Division 1 colleges.
