HS Basketball – Tigers Come Back, Earn First Win

For the second straight week, the High School Basketball schedule in Battle Creek begins at St. Philip. The fortunes for the hosting Tigers ended in a much different fashion.

After being blown out by Bronson in their season opener and falling on the road at Camden-Frontier, the home town crowd was doubled as they hosted the crosstown Calhoun Christian Cougars. The Tiger Den was electric as both squads were looking for their first wins.

Check out the recap below and a very short schedule in the area on Tuesday. Just two city teams are in action with Battle Creek Central and Lakeview both on the road. Harper Creek and Pennfield have the night off.
