In a season of high expectations and familiar territory, Tuesday's Game of the Night saw a first for the Bellevue Broncos - the first State Quarterfinal in school history in Boys Basketball.

It was also an opportunity to earn another win and move on to the Breslin Center in East Lansing for the Michigan High School Athletic Association State Semifinals on Thursday. In order to do it, they had to get by a perennial Division 4 power in the Wyoming Tri-Unity Defenders. Tri-Unity has four Class D (now Division 4) titles in school history, all coming in the last 22 seasons and looking to reach the Finals for the ninth time.

The Broncos and Defenders provided an exciting contest in front of an almost partisan crowd at Charlotte High School, located just 15 minutes away from Bellevue.
