HS Football – Second Half Stalls Spartans (VIDEO)

The Lakeview Spartans headed into their final home contest of 2018 looking to earn their second win of the season and doing it against one of the top teams in the Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference.

That top team was the St. Joseph Bears, looking for their fifth win on the season and inching closer to their fourth straight postseason appearance.

The Spartans have challenged every team they have faced this year, staying within a score or two until the end of the contest arrives. Even with a 1-5 record heading in, the Purple and White gave their Homecoming fans something to cheer for in our Game of the Night.

Check out the recap below and all the Friday night scores from Week 7 of the High School Football season. A conference champion was crowned in the area this week, and a surprise team was surprised themselves in a road contest.
