HS Football – Spartans Run Away in District Win

As the lone City team in action, the Lakeview Spartans was looking to show the muscle they have shown all season in their first home playoff game since 2013.

The Spartans had the tough task to take on a team they have never played before in competition on the gridiron in the Jackson Vikings.

Lakeview was looking to earn another home game in the Division 2 District Finals in Region 2 with a win to keep them undefeated, awaiting either Livonia Churchill or Dexter.

It was one of five area games to kick off the MHSAA postseason, with one more left to play Saturday afternoon. For a complete look at our Game of the Night and all the scores from this Friday night, check out the video recap below.
