Two suspects in Kalamazoo have been arrested and one is still on the loose in connection to a shooting that happened Wednesday evening.

Kalamazoo authorities say officers were called to the 1900 block of Portage Street at around 7:00 pm on reports of a fight with gunshots being fired. When officers arrived, a large group of people and several bullet casings were found. Investigators were able to identify three suspects in the case. No one was injured.

Later in the evening, officers found two of the three suspects inside a house in the 600 block of Fairbanks Avenue. A 17-year-old and 19-year-old were arrested and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail on weapons-related charges. Their names have not been released. A third suspect has still not been found and no description of that person has been made available at this time.

Anyone with information should contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety or Silent Observer.
