The second annual Making Strides Against MS fund raising walk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) will be held on May 4, 2019.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurological disease that has no cure. The cause of MS is unknown. Symptoms can be very mild to extremely debilitating. Vision, movement and numbness can be some of the symptoms of MS. There are medications that can reduce the progression of the disease but will not cure MS.

The event is at Stewart’s Landing in Marshall.   There is no cost to participate but organizers encourage everyone to get pledges for the walk. Pledge sheets can be sent to you by contacting dmr1350@yahoo.com.

All funds raised will go to the National MS Society.

Last year the walk raised over $4000 during and it was the first year for the event. The walk was awarded the top DIY fundraising award for the state of Michigan!
