Michigan continues to play prominently in the presidential race, as, this week, it was announced Hillary Clinton would open more campaign offices in the state.

Donald Trump has visited the state within the last several days as well, signaling that Michigan remains a significant player in the run-up to November.

Western Michigan University chair of the political science department, John Clark, offered some perspective on The Richard Piet Show, given the week's developments so far.
