Battle Creek Police investigators will not charge a woman that was found inside a fire station naked last month. According to a City release Thursday, authorities announced that the woman may have been seeking a place away from a domestic dispute.

Firefighters at the Capital Avenue Southwest station woke up July 19th to find the woman naked on a fire truck, with her clothes found later in the station. After being taken to a nearby hospital, she fled before officers arrived. Investigators believe that a man had chased the woman before entering the station through an unlocked door, which has since been fixed.

The woman was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time.
