Wiggly Tail Wednesday: Meet Freckles From Calhoun County

Meet Freckles, an extremely sweet snuggle bug that still has a lot of pup in her. Freckles is looking for her forever home and family at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.

It is no secret to those around me that my favorite day of the week is "Wiggly Tail Wednesday". As the ladies with the Humane Society of South Central Michigan came in with Freckles all bundled up, my heart just melted. It is the same feeling every time they bring the cat or dog being spotlighted. You could have that same feeling everyday by making this sweetheart a part of your family.

Freckles mother was an Old English Bulldog but her fathers breed is unknown. She is listed as an Old English Bulldog & Terrier mix, but it is only a guess. Staff and volunteers at HSSCM estimate she could be anywhere from 30 to 50 pounds when full grown, but it's still possible she could get bigger than that.

Freckles is only 4 months old and can be energetic but loves getting attention and tummy rubs. Her easy going personality means she may do well in a home with other dogs (pending a meet and greet) and is young enough to be trainable with cats. Freckles also may do well with kids that are 5-6+, but would need to be observed interacting first.
