Meet Sealy, this weeks featured pet available for adoption at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.

Sealy is a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever mix and only 5 months old, so still has more growing to do. Sealy came to HSSCM with two of her siblings, a boy and a girl. Her sister looks just like her. When the three arrived at HSSCM they had not had any experience walking on a leash. The staff and volunteers have since worked with the three but they could still use a little more training.

Sealy has a beautiful brindle/ marbled short haired coat that she may or may not grow out of. She is energetic but wants to please and has learned a few tricks like sitting for treats. When she arrived at the radio station, she was so excited to meet and get love from everyone she met but still approached everyone respectfully.

Sealy does well children who are 8 years old on up. She would do well with another dog, pending a meet and greet, and could possibly be trainable with cats. A fenced in yard would be ideal for her fur-ever home.

More about Sealy:
