Still a Few Christmas Trees Left at Lakeview Ford-Lincoln

If you still need a Christmas Tree, you're not too late to grab one of the last few at Lakeview Ford, at the corner of Dickman and Washington in Battle Creek.

For the past several years, owner Vince Pavone has teamed up with the Optimist Club to offer the trees for whatever a person can pay.

Brad Morris of the Battle Creek Optimist Club says they started with 100 trees just after Thanksgiving, and they're down to just about 20.   He says he'd sure like to sell the rest this week.   "People are giving $5 dollars, $10 dollars, or $50 dollars, and we still have some nice trees left.  I hope people will come down."
