After a Frost Advisory for the early morning hours Thursday (affecting mostly open, rural areas), the National Weather Service expects clouds to give way to scattered thunderstorms as the week winds down into the weekend.

High temperatures will eventually top out in the low 80's, then back off to the low 70's by Monday. Some extended forecasts suggest a drop back into the 60's for high temperatures next week, leading up to Memorial Day Weekend.
