The Michigan communities of Allegan and Dundee recently both experienced fireworks mishaps during summertime celebrations.

The time for fireworks is just about here and this year there are tons of events in the Southwest Michigan area that will have sweet displays lined up for all sorts of events.

About 1.5 million Michiganders are gearing up to finally get out and take a trip 4th of July weekend.

With restrictions being lifted starting July 1st, there are a bunch of other options for you to enjoy fireworks and the celebration of independence.

The City of Muskegon will have a traditional fireworks celebration on Independence Day.

All the confirmed cases are people between 15 and 25 years of age.

One of the biggest parties took place in Cass County which featured a "petri dish" of possible Covid-19 carriers partying like sardines inside a can at Diamond Lake.

Despite the many cancellations for 4th of July festivities, you can still take in fireworks shows at these Southwest Michigan locations.
