One of the long-standing sponsorships for the August race at Michigan International Speedway will continue after a new contract was confirmed on October 7th.
Some examples of the projects being funded include almost $25,000 to the Calhoun County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office to digitize archived files, and $17,000 to the Calhoun County Juvenile Home for Security Camera upgrades.

Back in January, Firekeeper’s Casino Hotel held a Poker Tournament Series to raise money for the local food bank. Now, they are announcing their results. Firekeeper’s says that the Restock the Shelves event gathered over 400 pounds of non-perishable food, and over $3,000 in cash donations.
Firekeeper’s Casino says that January 15 to the 17, participants in tournaments will be able to get additional chips for food and cash donations. However, they say if you don't play poker you can still make a donation during the event.
