The Fire Hub to Sell Baked Goods At Horrock’s Starting Wednesday

The Fire Hub is teaming up with Horrock’s to provide bakery items to a wider customer base.

The Fire Hub says that starting Wednesday, various baked goods will be sold at Battle Creek's Horrocks grocer, with Fire Hub branding; The items would be located near the sushi bar.

Some of the items to be sold include:

• Whole Wheat and White Bread
• Artisan Breads
• Muffins (Chocolate Chip, Blueberry etc.)
• Birthday Cakes
• Cupcakes
• Sugar Cookies

All proceeds from the bakery sales at Horrock’s will go to the Fire Hub’s community fund to benefit local charities, just like at the restaurant itself.

Firekeeper's Casino Hotel Vice President of Food and Beverage Michael McFarlen says "we are honored to be able to expand our reach" to Horrock's and their "loyal customer base".

The Fire Hub, along with the Kendall Street Food Pantry, is a collaboration between Firekeeper's Casino and the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. In April, The Fire Hub will have been open for one year.
