Two Battle Creek men were sentenced in federal court to five years in prison followed by four years of supervised release for their roles in a conspiracy to distribute at least 40 grams of fentanyl and a small but detectable amount of heroin.
According to the Southwest Enforcement Team, authorities were tipped off that the drugs were being delivered, leading to them conducting a traffic stop on the suspect around 5pm Tuesday on I-94 near Marshall.
