Woman Airlifted After Crash on M-66

An accident Thursday afternoon bogged down a main artery of Battle Creek traffic.

The Battle Creek Police responded to northbound M-66 and Beckley Road just after 3:30pm, where a car crashed into a semi. The driver of car, a 61-year-old woman, was airlifted to a Kalamazoo area hospital for treatment.

The crash scene blocked off both sides of the highway due to the helicopter called to the scene. The investigation of the crash continues.
