Would You Consider a 8,200 Square Foot Home “Big”?
"There’s only so big a house you can have” is what former President Barack Obama said at his recent speech in South Africa.
The Daily Caller is reporting on some of what former President Obama said at that speech when he admonished the rich, he was quoted in the article stating:
Right now, I’m actually surprised by how much money I got
He was saying this when he addressed that he made more than $20 million between 2005 and 2016. On a side note, how did he make that much money as a State Senator, then a U.S. Senator and then as the President?
He then went on to say:
There’s only so much you can eat. There’s only so big a house you can have. There’s only so many nice trips you can take. I mean, it’s enough.
He said this during his speech right before he traveled back to the United States to his $8.1 million eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half bathroom 8,200 square foot mansion in the exclusive Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C. which is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the world.
Interesting is it not?
Does he not even realize the hypocrisy in his own statement?
President Obama; do you need a 8,200 square feet home for a family of 4, with his children away to college most of the year?
By the way this one is his second home.
