Battle Creek Man Arrested Tuesday With Lots Of Drugs And Guns
A Battle Creek man was arrested Tuesday morning, after an investigation led to the discovery of drugs and weapons.
The Battle Creek Police Department says that around 12:30am Tuesday, February 7, officers were called to the 2000 block of W. Columbia Ave, while looking into a "trouble complaint" from earlier in the evening. A citizen tip told police that a person involved in that incident was in the area.
On Columbia Ave, officers found their male subject in his vehicle. Further investigation led to the discovery of several kinds of illegal narcotics in his vehicle, along with multiple firearms.
The 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and will likely be facing multiple drug and weapons charges. He's currently lodged at the Calhoun County Jail.
