Battle Creek Man In Critical Condition After Being Shot Multiple Times
A Battle Creek man is hospitalized in critical condition after his apartment was shot up more than 20 times.
A shooting in Battle Creek early Monday morning has left a 25-year-old man in critical condition with more than a handful of gunshot wounds. Battle Creek Police report the victim may have been hit by as many as 9 rounds. More than 20 shots are believed to have been fired into the apartment on Taft Court that the victim was in.
Shortly after the incident, a 21-year-old man arrived at Bronson Battle Creek with a single gunshot wound. The wound was considered to be minor and after medical treatment, police took him to Calhoun County jail on outstanding warrants. The man is described as a person of interest in the apartment shooting.
