Battle Creek Police Are Searching For Suspect In Armed Robbery

Battle Creek Police are looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect of an armed robbery.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, an armed robbery took place at a Battle Creek check cashing business in the 500 block of West Columbia Avenue.

The suspect was described as a black man, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a stocky build, in his mid- to late- 20's.

There was an unconfirmed report of an injury during the incident, but Battle Creek police say no shots were fired and there were no major injuries.
