Battle Creek’s Secretary of State Office Is Moving To Beckley Rd.

Battle Creek’s Secretary of State Office will be moving very soon.

The Secretary of State says that their office on Capital Ave. SW will be closed from March 25 to March 29, as they move from that location to one out on Beckley Rd. The goal is to have the move done so they can open on April 1 at the new location at 5420 Beckley Rd, in the strip mall that contains Hobby Lobby. The SOS says that the new location will provide easier access, better parking, and a larger lobby.

We took a photo of the inside the new location, and it seems pretty bare as of March 14.

While the office is closed, those in need of services can get them done online at ExpressSOS.com. Online, you can do things like renew or order most license plates, renew vehicle registration, or carry out a change of address.

If you still need a physical branch location to complete your business, while the Battle Creek location is closed you can go to the Secretary of State offices in Albion, Kalamazoo, or Hastings.
