Two Battle Creek teens are facing several charges for allegedly sexually assaulting several younger girls.

The Battle Creek Enquirer reports that authorities learned of the alleged assaults late last month, where 4 girls aged 13-15 were apparently preyed on by two 17-year-old men. The victims are described by police as runaways or involved in the court system.

The main suspect, 17-year-old Robert London, had been sought for a couple of weeks, and was finally arrested in St. Joseph County on Tuesday on an assault charge. He could be extradited back to Calhoun County later this week. Police say that London was someone the alleged victims trusted in, and that he also possibly gave them drugs and alcohol.

London is facing 4 counts of 3rd Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct; a second 17-year-old, arrested last week, is facing one CSC charge.

London has been involved with the law recently; authorities say that he committed a robbery of a cell phone last September, and then entered the Battle Creek Central High School building, putting it into lockdown. That case remains in the courts.
