Taking the family out for a day of adventure and learning can be pricey. Here is one thing to help you save, learn, and have fun all at the same time.

The Kingman Museum on Limit Street in Battle Creek is now offering free admission.

January 2018 marks the beginning of Kingman Museum’s new business model featuring free admission for the public year-round. The museum previously had free admission decades ago when it was part of Battle Creek Public Schools. This new move is intended to provide greater access for more individuals and families to enjoy a fun and educational experience. Planetarium shows cost only $2 per person per show, with a show 15 minutes after each hour.

That also means they are relying more on donations and gift shop purchases.

Currently, they are featuring an exhibit all about dinosaurs that will run through February.
