Van Andel Arena, located in downtown Grand Rapids, just announced the date of Bob Seger’s last concert at the arena, taking place this fall.

According to a press release issued June 1st, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band will bring their 2017 North American Tour to Van Andel Arena on Tuesday, September 19th, 2017.

Bob Seger, a 72 year-old Michigan native, has early classic-rock roots in Kalamazoo when his band, The Bob Seger System, used to play regularly at the legendary Crazy Horse teen night club, once located in Portage, in the mid-sixties. It was during this time that his first hit, Ramblin’ Gamblin’ Man peaked as a national hit at #17. Since that time of humble beginnings, he has acquired a lengthy list of memorable hits and awards. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012 and received Billboard Magazine’s “Legend of Live” award in 2014. Seger’s Greatest Hits album was recently certified diamond by the RIAA for selling 10 million units in the United States.

Tickets for this concert, which will surely sell-out quickly, will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, June 9th at 10 AM. Tickets are limited to (4) per order. However, if you become a member of the Bullet Club you can have access to Pre-sale tickets beginning 10 AM June 6th. Fans can join the club by going to BobSeger.com and purchasing a membership online. There are different levels of memberships, ranging from $15-$60, depending on what kind of cool stuff you would like to have along with pre-sale access. For the $15 level you get pre-sale access and a Bullet Club Laminate. The higher levels include t-shirts and a limited edition “Greatest Hits” 2LP pressed in purple vinyl.
