Lane Of Capital Ave. SW To Be Closed Wednesday

The center lane of Capital Ave. SW just south of Goguac St. in Battle Creek will be blocked off Wednesday, due to work that needs to be done.

The City says that drilling equipment is being brought in, so that soil samples can be taken; the samples are needed to check for the possibility of contamination from an underground storage tank leak.

Both directions of travel should remain open, but motorists are asked to be careful.
