Battle Creek authorities made one arrest after a shooting Saturday morning.

The Battle Creek Police Department says that the incident happened just after midnight Saturday, in front of the Convenience Store in the 600 block of Capital Ave. SW. A 45-year-old man was shot three times in the leg, and was taken to the hospital for treatment; his condition is described as good.

The suspect left the scene in a large white SUV, and authorities say that through the investigation of tips, a 35-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested around 5am Saturday. The case is now in the hands of the prosecutor's office.
