Authorities in Calhoun County are looking for a man who skipped out on court as their Fugitive of the Month.

27-year-old Christopher Deandre Hale is being sought by the Battle Creek Police Department and the Michigan State Police Fifth District Fugitive Team for several warrants, related to contempt of court and failure to appear in court for sentencing.

Silent Observer of the Greater Battle Creek area says that he is as a black male with brown hair and brown eyes, standing around 5 foot 6 and weighing 165 pounds. He has tattoos including the face of a dog on his left forearm, the word "Chris" on his left shoulder, and the word “Roo” on his right forearm.

Authorities say that Hale is believed to be hiding with family members in the Battle Creek area; his most recent residences include the Oakbrook Apartments on Rambling Rd, Brookstone Apartments on Dahlia Dr, and a home on Jericho Rd. in the Post Addition neighborhood.
