The driver accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash Thursday afternoon in Battle Creek was arraigned in Calhoun County court Friday.

According to WWMT, Kevin Frederick, 51, of Battle Creek was charged with two felonies in the fatal hit-and-run that took the life of a 41 year-old woman Thursday afternoon in Battle Creek. Surveillance camera footage from Bronson-Battle Creek Hospital shows the woman crossing the street, within the crosswalk, as the suspect’s vehicle approached.

Fredrick, a retired school bus driver, has been charged with Failure to stop at accident when at fault causing death and driving on a suspended or revoked license causing death.
