Four young men were arrested late Thursday night in the Battle Creek area after authorities say they were caught with drugs and weapons.

Around 11:30pm Thursday, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 900 block of W. Goguac St. in Springfield on reports of subjects smoking pot inside a vehicle, as well as a noise violation. When they got there, they found the vehicle with four men inside. The investigation led to two loaded pistols being found in the vehicle, one of them stolen, along with some cocaine and a large amount of marijuana and cash.

The four males aged 19 to 22 from Battle Creek and Detroit were all arrested and lodged in the Calhoun County jail; they are facing various weapons, stolen property and drug charges.
