A park in Battle Creek is closed on Monday due to flooding and standing water.

The City of Battle Creek says that Anybodies Playground at Bailey Park will be closed, and will remain closed until it can dry out; standing water was found in many of the play areas.

Residents are also advised to be careful as they travel along the Linear Park Path along the Battle Creek River over the next few days, and flooded areas were discovered over the weekend.

According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, Anybodies Playground was created in 2005 in order to give the community a place for everyone to play; it features many different play elements such as special swings and see-saws that are accessible to people with disabilities. The Battle Creek Community Foundation has an endowment for those who want to help support the Playground.
