Recount To Cost Taxpayers Millions

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says President-elect Donald Trump's objection to her request to recount Michigan's presidential votes is "shameful and outrageous." Stein responded after the Trump campaign filed an objection Thursday, delaying the planned Friday start of the recount, which now couldn't start until next week, at the earliest.

Stein has also requested recounts in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which began its recount Thursday.

According to the Detroit News, Even though the recount is partially funded by donations to the Green Party, Michigan taxpayers will have to pay approximately $4 Million dollars to cover the remaining expenses.
