Two Battle Creek Water Mains Break Wednesday

A pair of water main breaks have taken place Wednesday morning in Battle Creek. 

The City of Battle Creek says just before 11am that the first break took place in the area of Iroquois Ave, Territorial Rd, and Capital Ave. SW to Foster. The second break was at the intersection of Wood Ave. and Parkway Dr.

Residents are advised that they will be without water service, and that when water returns they should expect boil water advisories. Temporary road closures are possible as well.

The work was expected to finish sometime between 5 and 7pm Wednesday.
